Overview
Interstate Towing's problem was administrative. Release forms, identity verification and legal document signing all happened on paper, which meant staff handling paperwork instead of running recoveries, and customers dealing with forms at the worst possible moment. Towing and recovery reach people in high-stress situations, often at the roadside on a phone, so anything requiring a desk was going to fail.
What we did
We redesigned and rebuilt the site as a working tool under a fixed-price engagement.
Document signing and storage were automated using n8n and ApproveMe, so customers sign release forms directly through the website and the signed document is filed and stored automatically. Form handling was configured to take multi-file uploads, so customers can submit release forms and photographs of identification in one pass.
The interface was built for the situation it gets used in: mobile-responsive, with a services gallery using interactive pop-ups so descriptions stay readable on a phone. Hosting moved to amazee.io for uptime and security.
The outcome
The business now takes service requests around the clock, with secure document signing and automated storage removing the manual paperwork that used to sit between a call and a recovery. The Grand Forks team spend their time on field operations instead of admin.
