Overview
The work had to merge several properties into one experience aligned with the organisation's lifestyle-led approach to care, migrate over 300 pages without losing SEO, stay accessible for older users and their families, and support a brand launch.
What we did
We partnered with the agency of record on the platform rebuild.
Discovery workshops with leadership set the business goals and structure. Wireframing defined user journeys across three levels of navigation with filtering and search, which is more depth than a small site normally needs and exactly what a multi-campus organisation does need.
The rebrand established accessible colour schemes, typography and components for desktop and mobile. The build used Next.js with Strapi as the CMS, chosen so the editorial team could work comfortably while the front end stayed fast. Content migration was automated across pages, news and legacy links. Deployment ran on amazee.io infrastructure with Fastly in front.
We produced Strapi documentation, ran three workshops and recorded walkthroughs, so the content team could take the platform over properly.
The outcome
Multiple fragmented sites became one coherent, responsive platform, WCAG-aligned and built to work for seniors, families and staff alike. The content team manage updates independently, because the documentation and training were built to make that possible from the start. The site now carries marketing and engagement work, supporting awareness and sign-ups around the new brand.
